For each pair of statements, choose the one that describes you best — even when neither is perfect. Go with your first instinct; forced choices reveal more than comfortable ones. This is a research-style trait measure for self-reflection, not a clinical diagnosis.Adapted from the NPI-16 (Ames, Rose & Anderson, 2006). The original instruments (Ames et al. 2006; Raskin & Terry 1988) are cited; the forced-choice pairs here are our own rewording of the construct, not verbatim reproductions. The 0-16 scoring counts one point per narcissistic choice, following the published format.
