Logical Reasoning Test

Read a short set of premises and choose the conclusion that must be true. The questions are purely verbal and deductive — syllogisms, if-then reasoning and simple logic puzzles — so no maths or prior knowledge is needed. Fifteen questions give your score, accuracy and average time.

Logical Reasoning Test

Which conclusion must be true?

About the Logical Reasoning Test

Deductive logic asks what follows with certainty from what you are told — not what is merely likely. Each question gives one or more premises and four candidate conclusions; exactly one must be true if the premises hold. The reasoning is verbal, covering categorical syllogisms (all / no / some), conditional rules (if P then Q), disjunctive choices and the transitive ordering of items.

Answer with a click or the keys 1 to 4. A few questions deliberately give too little information, so the correct answer is that nothing certain can be concluded. Your result is the number correct out of 15, with a percentage and your average time per question.
